Introduction

What Pingi monitors and how you get alerted.

Pingi is a website uptime, SSL and performance monitoring service. You add the websites and services you care about, and Pingi checks them continuously and tells you the moment something goes wrong.

What Pingi watches

  • Uptime — every monitor is requested on a schedule you choose, from 30 seconds to 24 hours.
  • Response time — each check records DNS, connect, TLS, time-to-first-byte and total time.
  • SSL certificates — HTTPS monitors get certificate checks automatically: validity, hostname, chain and expiry.

When something breaks

A failed check is verified from a second region before Pingi declares a monitor down. Confirmed downtime opens an incident, and your notification channels (email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, SMS or webhook) are alerted once. When the site recovers, the incident closes with its total downtime and a recovery alert goes out.

Sharing status

Public status pages show your customers the current state and incident history of the services you choose, on a Pingi URL or your own domain.
